Restando menos de um mês para a cerimônia, o The Game Awards 2020, maior premiação da indústria de jogos eletrônicos, anunciou nesta tarde do dia 18 de novembro os nomeados a todas as categorias. A principal delas é o GOTY, Game of The Year, ou Jogo do Ano.
Apresentado por Geoff Keighley, esse ano o evento será digital e online, com transmissão ao vivo de Los Angeles, Tóquio e Londres no dia 10 de dezembro. O evento é também caracterizado pelo anúncio de jogos e performance musicais.
